Sami Patel Barnes is an attorney and Clarity Catalyst Consultant. She has been researching and cultivating optimal and rewarding ways to live and work for over 15 years. As a consultant, Sami offers her experience, wisdom, and judicious powers to guide others towards their goals with her Laws of the Good Life.

A Chicago native, Sami (aka Samiksha) has always been goal-oriented. She attended St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, graduating in 2006 as a three-year merit scholar and Magna Cum Laude. She was a judicial intern, and was elected to teach courses to law students.

Sami moved to San Diego in 2007 and built her legal platform as a civil litigator. She practiced in several areas of law, taking cases to trial with success. She is known as an aggressive, fierce, results-driven and highly respected lawyer by clients, colleagues and opponents. It was the intense demands, and often-stressful pace, of litigation that led Sami to persistently research and implement mindfulness, and to value the role of emotional intelligence.

In 2014, Sami changed legal practices, transitioning to specialize in employment law. She continued to study and adopt carefully researched physical, mental, and spiritual techniques and methodologies to lead a more balanced, prosperous, and joyous life. 

Now, Sami has created the ideal career path (for her), which is a synthesis of her legal training, her fierce advocacy and negotiation skills, her talent for learning and instructing, and her determination to exemplify “a life well lived.” She brings with her an extensive catalog of personal development experience. Her Laws of the Good Life helps others who dream of reaching higher by transforming their personal and professional lives.

Sami offers group class training as well as one-on-one training, both in person and online. She holds a certification as a Consultant for CIJ Clarity Catalyst. The Creative Insight Journey (CIJ) is based on Stanford University’s famed Masters’ Business course, Creativity in Business, developed by Dr. Michael Ray.

Sami resides in North County San Diego with her husband and darling daughter. Beyond her work with transformation, you will find her with her family, running, cooking, traveling, gardening, and playing in the ocean.
